The SetPoint Advantage

SetPoint Therapy uses neuroimmune modulation to activate your immune system and reduce inflammation.

SetPoint Therapy is for adults who continue to have RA symptoms despite trying multiple medications

75%
of patients (182 of 242 RESET-RA participants) were managed with SetPoint Therapy, without the need for advanced therapies like biologics or JAK inhibitors through 12 months.

"My current treatment to keep my RA under control is the SetPoint Therapy. That's it. It's a simple one minute a day vibration of the nerve, and it's all I take."

Patty C, Illinois - RESET-RA study participant

From ordering medications to self-administering injections, living with RA can feel like a full-time job. Once the SetPoint System is in place and activated, patients will charge their implant for a few minutes each week to receive automatic therapy for a minute each day. Automatic stimulation means you have the freedom to enjoy your life on your terms.

Back

The SetPoint System is an implant that is designed to activate your body’s natural pathways to modulate the immune system and reduce inflammation. This unique mechanism means that the vast majority of patients treated with SetPoint Therapy – 75% in the RESET-RA study – could reduce their symptoms and protect their joints from erosive disease without the addition of biologic drugs or JAK inhibitors, or compromising their immune system.

Back

With co-pays, deductibles, and coverage policies, the cost of RA treatment can be unpredictable. The SetPoint Therapy is unique, offering an implant that provides up to ten years of therapy. A one-time, out-of-pocket cost to patients and insurance companies typically provides a cost-effective model for patients and payers.8

SetPoint Medical is committed to ensuring patients have the right team to answer their questions, and also working with their insurance providers to get them access to care.

SetPoint System is designed to activate your natural immune pathways to reduce inflammation and symptoms of disease without compromising your immune system – allowing for RA symptom reduction while preserving the body’s ability to fight infections.

In the RESET-RA study, 4 of the 242 people implanted (1.7%) experienced serious adverse events related to the placement of the SetPoint System with no new related serious adverse events through 12 months of long-term follow-up. Additionally, there were no serious infections, cancers, or major cardiac events associated with the therapy through 12 months.

The thing that appealed to me the most was that I wouldn't have to be going back continuously for another treatment over and over, that my immune system would no longer be suppressed. This is just stimulating that organ to do what it's supposed to do.

Living with RA is not about just feeling better for a few days or a few weeks. It’s about symptom relief being sustained over months without the need to add or change drugs.

Results from the RESET-RA study highlighted that twelve months after starting treatment, approximately 50% of the patients using SetPoint Therapy were in low disease activity or remission.

In RESET-RA study, 75% of patients managed their RA with the SetPoint System without the use of additional biologics or JAK inhibitors through 12 months of treatment.

Participants in the RESET-RA study saw improvement in the number of tender and swollen joints and disease activity by 3 months after starting SetPoint Therapy. These effects continued to improve through 12 months of follow-up, at which point nearly half of patients treated with SetPoint Therapy were in low disease activity or remission.*

SetPoint Therapy is the only medical device-based treatment alternative for RA. It is designed to work by activating your body’s innate pathways to restore the balance of the immune system—reducing the inflammation that is the root cause of RA. 1 , 2

It is a small, implantable treatment option that automatically delivers therapy for one minute each day, bringing you the freedom to enjoy your life on your own terms.

At one year, 75% of patients in the RESET-RA study remained on SetPoint therapy, without the addition of a biologic or JAK inhibitor.
