Spencer brings two decades of reimbursement and market access experience that spans the provider, payer and medical technology companies. Most recently, Spencer was the VP of Market Access at MicroTransponder Inc. His prior experiences include working with neuromodulation companies like Inspire Medical and Respicardia as well as providers such as Kaiser Permanente

Kevin Wilkin

Vice President of Quality

Kevin Wilkin was formerly Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at Palyon Medical. His prior experience includes work in Quality Assurance and Development as a Mechanical Engineer for Bioness, TriMed, and Second Sight. He has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry with the last 10+ years being in Quality Assurance management positions.

Dan Ward has over 15 years of medical device experience, holding a broad range of roles in program and product management, operations, quality, and engineering. He brings to SetPoint extensive problem solving and leadership experience needed to develop Class III devices with cross-functional, international, and multi-site teams.

Erik has nearly two decades of medical device experience with a primary focus on market development and novel technology. Most recently he led the sales organization at Valencia Technologies and previously held sales leadership roles at Medtronic and Teleflex.

Vice President of Marketing

Ankit Shah has more than a decade of experience developing and commercializing innovative medical technology. He was a founding member of the commercialization team at Intersect ENT (NASDAQ: XENT) and held positions at Outset Medical, Medtronic, SV Health Investors and the FDA.

Vice President of Operations

John Long joined SetPoint Medical in 2015. He has held several senior operations leadership positions over the last 15 year including leading L.A. Turbine Corporation as COO.

Yaakov Levine, PhD

Vice President of Research

Yaakov Levine holds a PhD in biomedical engineering and has focused on developing non-pharmacologic treatments for chronic diseases in both academic and industry settings. He has been advancing bioelectronic medicine for over a decade.

Alexis Dineen

Vice President of Regulatory Affairs

Alexis Dineen has over 30 years of experience in driving the regulatory affairs process for medical device start-up companies. Since starting her career at Target Therapeutics, she has led regulatory processes for Conceptus, EMBOL-X and the Foundry. She has also served as Acting VP of Regulatory for numerous companies, including most recently for AEGEA Medical (now CooperSurgical), EBR Systems and Evalve.

Vice President of Clinical Affairs

Amy Derosier brings over 20 years of experience in clinical affairs for multiple early-stage medical device companies, including Torax Medical (acquired by Johnson & Johnson), where she built a significant portfolio of clinical evidence to support PMA, HDE, and CE Mark regulatory approvals as well as commercialization.

Chief Technology Officer

Bill Calle was formerly the Sr. Director of Software at Advanced Bionics. He has over 30 years of experience in the integration and productization of complex electromechanical and software systems including in aerospace, entertainment, robotics, telecom and active implantables.

Rohan Seth

Chief Financial Officer

Rohan Seth has over 20 years of experience managing finance and accounting functions. Prior to SetPoint Medical, he was the CFO at Cutera (Nasdaq: CUTR). His prior experiences include VP of Finance for Global Orthopaedics Franchise at Smith & Nephew, Head of Finance for U.S. Surgical at Alcon Labs and various roles with increasing responsibilities at Stryker Corporation.

David Chernoff, MD

Chief Medical Officer

David Chernoff has 25 years of molecular diagnostics and biopharmaceutical experience and has served as a translational medicine consultant to more than 40 biopharma and device companies. He has held chief medical officer posts with a number of venture capital backed diagnostic and therapeutic companies. He was formerly VP of Corp Technology at Elan Pharma and Medical Director at Chiron Corp.

Murthy Simhambhatla, PhD

Chief Executive Officer

Murthy Simhambhatla was formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolus, a medical aesthetics company with a lead biologic drug, DWP-450, which he led towards an IPO in 2018. Prior to Evolus, Dr. Simhambhatla was a Senior Vice President at Abbott Laboratories and President of Abbott Medical Optics, a $1B-plus global ophthalmic business focused on cataract and refractive surgery.
